Many years after the massacre in via D'Amelio, Agnese Borsellino reinterprets the story of her love with Paolo: the chance meeting in a notary's office, the murders of Captain Basile and the prosecutor Chinnici, the events of the maxi-trial, the isolation on the part of the people, the problems linked to the education of children, the hypocrisy of the institutions that have plotted in the shadows, up to the massacres of Capaci and Via D'Amelio.

More than the monologue of a woman by now aware, hers is a never interrupted dialogue with her life partner. And the testimony of a void that nothing and no one can ever fill.
